The Oregon Long-Term Care Ombudsman is seeking RFO Certified Ombudsman volunteers to advocate for residents in care homes and facilities. This role involves face-to-face visits to ensure residents' rights are honored and to resolve complaints.
Volunteers must be 18+, pass a criminal history check, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills. A commitment of approximately 16 hours per month is required, along with initial and ongoing training to maintain certification.
