Mennonite Village is a not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) that has been serving Mid-Willamette Valley for over 78 years. Our purpose is to be a community where residents live their best lives. Our values are Integrity, Excellence, and Respect.

Mennonite Home is our Skilled Nursing department. This department consists of 21 skilled nursing beds on each floor for a total of 42 skilled nursing beds. We provide 24-hour post-op, short-term, and long-term services and support.

Current Full time Opportunities:
  • Thursday through Monday Day Shift 6 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.

What you will be doing?

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Mennonite Home, you will be providing essential care services that prioritize both the physical and emotional well‑being of our residents. Your day will involve assisting with activities of daily living (ADL), monitoring health statuses, and ensuring safety during care procedures, all while keeping accurate documentation. You'll encourage residents to participate in engaging activities, fostering a lively atmosphere that promotes joy and connection.

With your compassionate care and professionalism, you'll play a vital role in enhancing their quality of life, making every day a little brighter.

What does it take to succeed as a CNA?

To thrive as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Mennonite Home, you'll need a unique blend of skills that elevate the level of care we provide. Effective engaging and communicating with our residents are essential, a connection is key to compassionate care. Patience, tact and a willingness to navigate challenging situations will help you shine in this community. Strong listening skills and a professional approach to conflict resolution are also necessary.

  • Understanding resident rights and dignity
  • Valid CNA certification in Oregon required in the first 120 days of employment.
  • CPR/AED certification required in the first 120 days of employment.
  • Experience in Long-term care is preferred.
