Join our Skilled Nursing Care Team at Mennonite Village as an LPN Charge Nurse! This key position is responsible for overseeing the assigned shift, supervising nursing staff, coordinating resident care with the unit manager and director of nursing support, and ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes within our skilled nursing department. Our new 12-hour shift enhances work-life balance and provides scheduling consistency.
Mennonite Village is a not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community that has proudly served the Mid-Willamette Valley for over 78 years. Our 42-bed community provides 24-hour post-operative, short-term, and long-term care services in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Do Lead and Contribute- Provide direct supervision to nursing staff, oversee accurate medication administration, ensure timely completion of treatments, and uphold all regulatory standards.
- Provide direct resident care within LPN scope of practice.
- Maintain real-time awareness of resident condition, providing direction during changes in status or critical situations.
- Participate in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers ensuring smooth transitions.
- Monitors call-light response performance and intervenes to maintain prompt resident support.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to support residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being.
- Contribute to ongoing enhancement of resident care and services.
- Participate in training, competencies, and continued education.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and support a positive work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a current, valid, and unencumbered LPN license in the state of Oregon.
- A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience (long-term care preferred).
- Current CPR certification.

Pay range, depending on experience: $36.00-$44.18 per hour
