Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
Providing comprehensive labor, delivery, and postpartum care, the registered nurse will support families through the birth process in a family-centered and safe environment. The role involves collaboration with a highly trained team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor maternal and neonatal conditions throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
- Administer medications and manage medical interventions as directed by physicians.
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery postpartum care, and newborn care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and execute individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of clinical assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Hold an unencumbered Oregon RN license.
- Possess current Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification.
- Maintain AHA ACLS certification (required).
- Preferred certifications include NRP and STABLE.
- Demonstrate experience in labor and delivery or postpartum care.
- Exhibit strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
