Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

The Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery provides specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. They support fetal monitoring, manage labor processes, and ensure the safety and comfort of both mother and newborn.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor maternal and fetal health status throughout labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on labor, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Document clinical observations and interventions accurately in electronic medical records.
• Support labor management, fetal monitoring, and postpartum recovery procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold an unencumbered Oregon RN license upon submission.
• Possess Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification.
• Obtain AHA ACLS, NRP, and NIHSS certifications.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience, including fetal monitoring and postpartum care.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic electronic health record systems.
• Be willing to use personal transportation and travel to multiple care points.
