Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are a vital part of our Skilled Nursing team, providing hands‑on care and support to residents while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Applicants for this posting will be working in Mennonite Home's Skilled Nursing Facility during the evening shift.

Working under the direction of licensed nursing staff, CNAs assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitor resident well‑being, respond to resident needs, and contribute to a safe, welcoming, and person‑centered environment. As a CNA in our Skilled Nursing Department, you'll play an essential role in delivering compassionate, resident‑centered care and supporting residents throughout their healthcare journey.

• Provide direct resident care in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and personal hygiene.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance
• Assist residents with mobility, ambulation, transfers, positioning, and restorative care activities.
• Obtain and document vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other assigned observations.
• Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, or cognitive condition and promptly report concerns to licensed nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, privacy, and rights in all interactions.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and emergency preparedness procedures.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality resident care.
