We are looking for a Key Account Manager to drive growth within strategic accounts by managing relationships, coordinating sales operations, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. This role focuses on nurturing existing accounts, identifying cross‑selling opportunities, and representing sales throughout the commercialization process.

Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative strategies to expand business with new and existing accounts.
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify trends and dynamics, delivering actionable insights and solutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Uncover untapped potential within each account and craft strategic sales plans that position our products as the winning choice, anticipating potential challenges and implementing contingency plans.
  • Execute fact‑based negotiations across multiple product lines and market segments, consistently meeting and exceeding sales forecasts.
  • Build enthusiasm for Mountain House products while leveraging insights that drive profitable growth.
  • Prepare and present compelling sales proposals tailored to customer needs and objectives, reinforcing value and partnership.
  • Address client concerns promptly, providing timely resolutions that maintain strong relationships and high satisfaction levels.
  • Provide accurate annual, 13‑month rolling, and monthly forecasts for assigned accounts, ensuring optimal supply levels and preventing excess inventory.
  • Exhibit professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflect positively on the company and are consistent with the company’s policies and practices.
  • Embody OFD’s cultural values and align daily actions with department and company culture.
Qualifications
  • Generally a minimum of six (6) years of experience in sales, account management, or business development; with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, supply chain or related field.
  • Prior experience with retail merchandising, planogram development, line reviews and/or account portfolio management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with large and small group presentations.
  • Critical thinker who can synthesize business opportunities and risks in an impactful and concise manner.
  • Dynamic networking, relationship building and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Corporate level proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and computer skills.
  • Ability to travel by car or airplane with overnight travel as needed, generally 10‑20% of the time.
