HVAC Installer | $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

Pace Heating & Air, Albany / Corvallis OR. Proudly serves Corvallis, Albany, and the surrounding area since 1996. We provide service, maintenance and installation for residential homeowners and commercial properties with heating, cooling and indoor air quality needs.

Work Hours:

Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with 4/10’s available seasonally. Overtime available.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Residential and light commercial HVAC installations
  • Working with and learning from a journeyman
  • Installing:
    • Gas pipe
    • Refrigeration pipe
    • Gas and electric furnaces
    • Heat pumps
    • Geothermal
    • Radiant heat, etc.
  • Troubleshooting installations
  • Customer service
  • Gaining hands‑on training and industry certifications
    • EPA certifications
    • NATE certifications
    • Carrier factory training
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years field installation experience
  • Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
  • EPA Universal certification
  • Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems
  • Ability to consult on customer complaints and provide solutions beneficial to both customer and company
  • Ability to follow blueprints and understand technical instructions
  • Willingness to attend training classes and seminars, including NATE certifications
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in HVAC from a trade school desired

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon conditional offer of employment.
