About the Position

The Accounting Administrator will be responsible for supporting the company's daily accounting activities, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable and the accounting of leases in accordance with IFRS 16. Additionally, they will participate in general accounting processes, monthly closings, statutory reports, preparation of annual accounts, and internal and external audits.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage Accounts Payable activities, including the processing, validation, and registration of supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
  • Maintain the supplier database and resolve discrepancies in invoices and queries in a timely manner.
  • Ensure correct accounting treatment in accordance with IFRS and local (GAAP) regulations, especially regarding IFRS 16.
  • Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including provisions and accounting entries.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits, as well as in addressing audit requirements.
  • Support in the preparation of statutory financial statements under the supervision of the area manager.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within the accounting area, especially in the Accounts Payable flows.
General Accounting Support
  • Provide support in general ledger activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, accounting records, and analytical reviews of assigned accounts.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, providing support as needed.
Profile Sought
  • Proactive:
    Ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks efficiently, and maintain excellent organization.

    Structured and orderly approach to work, with attention to detail.
  • Results-oriented:
    Ability to get involved in the details, identify problems quickly, and propose practical solutions.
  • Good communication skills:
    Fluent in Spanish and intermediate-high level of English, both spoken and written.
Education and Experience
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Between 2 to 5 years of experience in an accounting role, with solid experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Practical experience in accounting closings, audits, and statutory reports.
  • Experience in applying IFRS 16 is positively valued.
  • Experience in multi-company or multinational environments is considered a plus.

Experience in the energy sector, especially in renewable energies, will be valued.
