• Adjunct faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis, as needed.
• Teaching Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) content in classroom and campus laboratories. This position requires faculty to design course syllabi and develop course materials related to DMS.
• Excellent knowledge of sonography equipment and hands on lab practice.
• Teaching load based on student enrollment and staffing needs.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
• May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

• Active RDMS credentials from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography in specialty area of both abdomen and Ob/Gyn.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in the teaching field with demonstrated competencies.
• Minimum of 2 years full time related occupational experience as a sonographer.
• Knowledge of computers and online instructional technologies (Canvas).
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Skilled in teaching lecture, online, and/or hands on laboratory courses.

• Multiple professional registry credentials RVT and RDCS
• Prior teaching experience
