Adjunct Faculty Pool - Nutrition, Public & Community Health

Job Overview

Adjunct faculty positions are appointed on a course‑by‑course, semester basis as needed. The role includes teaching developmental or college‑level courses in Nutrition, Public Health, and Community Health, which may include distance‑learning courses during the day and evening on weekdays and weekends. Instruction is primarily face‑to‑face, with the possibility of remote instruction.

• Teach developmental and college‑level courses in Nutrition, Public Health, or Community Health.
• Deliver instruction via face‑to‑face or remote modalities.
• Prepare and deliver lessons, assessments, and course materials.
• Provide feedback and grading; maintain student records.
• Participate in department meetings and professional development activities.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with industry experience and an industry‑specific credential or license (if applicable).
• Expert skills, knowledge, experience, and education in Nutrition, Public Health, or Community Health.
• History of successful teaching or related experience.

• At least two years of teaching experience.
• Work experience in the field.
• Experience with online teaching.
• Master’s degree in the field (preferred).

• Operation of a state vehicle (if applicable).

• May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
