Summary
King's College School La Moraleja is seeking an outstanding and dynamic Head of PE (Whole School) to lead and inspire Physical Education across the school. This is a prominent middle leadership role for an exceptional teacher and leader who is passionate about sport, wellbeing and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop the PE department across the whole school
- Inspire students and staff through high-quality teaching and leadership
- Ensure excellent teaching, learning and curriculum delivery in PE
- Support, develop and line manage members of the department
- Lead quality assurance, assessment and departmental improvement planning
- Promote participation and excellence in sport, including tournaments and extracurricular activities
- Manage departmental resources, facilities and budget effectively
A Bachelor's Degree and Qualified Teacher Status
Proven experience teaching within the British curriculum
Evidence of excellent classroom practice and strong academic outcomes
Previous leadership or coordination experience within PE
