Job Description:As part of the Technical Advisory Department team, the candidate will be part of the engineering team with the scope to provide services worldwide. The position will be based in Madrid (Spain). The main activity will be to perform electrical detailed engineering reviews for projects under construction as well as projects under development/design stage worldwide. Moreover, he/she will perform engineering designs, and support the consultant team during TDD services in electrical matters.
Main Responsibilities:- Review detailed engineering documentation for projects under construction.
- Review of technical documentation related to electrical and communications issues.
- Perform electrical studies for solar PV plants (and wind farms) worldwide.
- Support consultancy team as electrical specialist during technical due diligence.
- Perform engineering drawings and specifications (i.e. for EPC tendering).
- Perform advisory activities.
- Engineering degree: electrical or electronic.
- Technical knowledge of PV plants working principles.
- Technical knowledge of main equipment: PV modules, inverters, transformers, weather stations, and substations.
- Experience in using specific software: PVsyst and DIgSILENT.
- Computer skills:
Microsoft Office package, AutoCAD, Google Earth. - Fluent in Spanish/English.
- Driving license.
- Experience in design/construction of energy plants and/or substation.
- Technical knowledge of energy storage systems.
- Technical knowledge of energy markets.
- Electrical design software: ETAP and DIgSILENT.
- Experience in wind.
