Technical Solution Consultant (TSC)

We are looking for a Technical Solution Consultant (TSC) to join our Process Automation - BESS and POWER team in Honeywell. In this role, you will use your strong leadership and business development skills, deep knowledge of battery energy storage and the energy industry, as well as Honeywell's applicable solutions, to drive profitable growth in the ECM (Energy Control Management) vertical in Europe and META regions.
This position reports to the Global Leader of TSC in USA and is primarily responsible for developing go-to-market strategies, working closely with business development and sales teams in assigned regions. You will be responsible for bringing in-depth market knowledge, available products, demanded solutions, customer needs, trends, and government policies for developing an opportunity capture strategy. This role also works in collaboration with other solution leaders of the vertical to ensure alignment and consistency globally.
The TSC is responsible for benchmarking and evaluating new technologies or vendor offerings to integrate into our solutions. Additionally, the role involves supporting the identification and development of key partnerships in its associated pole. Attendance at key trade shows and technical conferences, as well as speaking at such events when necessary, is required.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a change agent: influence, advise, and lead efforts to share and standardize top-level solutions.
- Coordinate customer-focused solutions across different business lines, acting as a trusted client partner, providing a strategic vision to drive value-based solutions; facilitating collaboration between different SBUs.
- Provide strategic leadership and analytical consultancy to business areas, sales, and vertical leadership.
- Work with sales teams and vertical leaders to align and drive the vertical's client growth strategy.
- Build strong relationships with key clients.
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships with third parties necessary to support new business models.
- Define, create, and disseminate industry and sub-industry solution offerings, including support materials (PPT, battle cards), and target accounts/clients.
- Collaborate with other vertical solution leaders and offer management leaders to implement best practices and strategies.
- Collaborate with offer management and technical solution consultants to actively contribute as part of relevant NPI business teams for the vertical.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- More than five years of related technical experience, especially in the execution of electrical projects in battery energy storage, microgrids, micro-grid control applications, and power generation.
- Additional five years of technical or business development leadership experience, responsible for the execution of electrical projects in battery energy storage, microgrids, micro-grid control applications, combined cycle control, and/or their implementation.
- Advanced level of English, minimum C1.
Additional requirements (not mandatory)
- Financial knowledge in renewable energy projects.
- Availability to travel up to 50% of the region.
