In the ACCIONA Scholarship Program, you will be part of teams that will involve you in projects from day one, accompanied by experts who will help you develop your skills and participate in the day-to-day operations of a global company.

ACCIONA, in its Water business, is looking to incorporate an intern for its Cost Department.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to gain experience in managing and tracking costs in large projects and conducting analysis of cost deviations and variations, through the review of monthly closures of various works worldwide, as well as the establishment of KPIs for their early detection and for the establishment of mitigation plans hand in hand with the site managers.

Main duties:

• Actively collaborate with the department in the development and execution of various key functions related to the economic management and financial control of large international projects.
• Detailed analysis of monthly closures, ensuring the correct imputation of costs, the reliability of economic data, and the early detection of deviations from established budget objectives.
• Extensive review of cost estimates prepared by each site manager, evaluating their coherence, consistency, and alignment with the actual degree of project advancement.
• Review, validation, and consolidation of monthly monitoring reports, analyzing the economic and operational results obtained in each project using internal tools such as SEO and Power BI, which allows for a global and comparative view of the status of projects.
• Continuous support to the cost teams of the different projects, resolving incidents, unifying criteria, and contributing to the improvement of economic control processes.
• Collaborate in the elaboration and updating of the Risk and Opportunity Matrix of each project, identifying potential economic impacts and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key requirements:

• Complete a 6-month internship on a part-time or full-time basis. Start from September to March.
• Official/enabling degree or master's in Civil, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Intermediate level of English language proficiency.
• Proactive.
