Would you like to be part of Repsol's Trading team, with an international vocation and a key role in business growth?
We are looking for a professional with experience in prepayments, structured financing, and working capital optimization, who wants to drive strategic projects in a collaborative, demanding, and globally impactful environment.
The team is integrated into Repsol Trading, an international, dynamic, and business-oriented environment. In recent years, we have achieved a relevant presence in the market, managing prepayment operations of over 300 M$ and terms of up to 5 years. Your mission will be to contribute to consolidating this line of activity, working directly with the team manager and in close collaboration with the commercial, financial, legal, and risk teams of Trading.

You will assume responsibility in the identification, structuring, negotiation, and follow-up of financial solutions with senior interlocutors.
Main tasks:
- Analyze prepayment opportunities together with Front Office, evaluating commercial interest, initial conditions, available guarantees, and main associated risks.
- Coordinate commercial prepayment projects from origination to execution and follow-up, including the interaction with the Financial Directorate for the search of financing banks.
- Lead the implementation of prepayment operations, coordinating commercial negotiations, legal aspects, contracts, guarantees, and payment and collection flows.
- Identify solutions to mitigate performance risks through insurers, banks, or other trading counterparts.
- Ensure consistency between the operational, systems, and logistical availability of the cargoes.
- Manage the operational and commercial relationship with counterparts, leading negotiations during the life of the contract in the face of possible defaults, deviations, or adjustment needs.
- Monitor ratios and indicators that allow tracking the compliance of the counterpart during the life of the prepayment.
- Manage operations without financial intermediation to optimize working capital, identifying cargoes during the quarter that can be subject to improvement, seeking the most efficient measures in terms of cost.
- Collaborate transversally with Legal, Risks, Finance, Front Office, and Middle Office.
- Develop and update the know-how of the area, incorporating benchmarking, best practices from the sector, and learnings from executed operations.
- Design and deploy internal training plans to reinforce knowledge about this type of solutions within the organization.

The Role If:
- You have a higher education degree; a master's degree or specific training in finance, international trade, or related fields will be valued more.
- You have a high level of English, minimum C1, and feel comfortable working in international environments.
- You bring at least 6 years of experience in functions related to prepayments, trading, structured financing, financial management, or working capital improvement.
- You have experience in the energy or financial sector.
