Wealth Management & Insurance covers three businesses in all Santander Group countries:
Insurance, Asset Management, and Private Banking. We work to offer the best solutions to our clients in these three areas in the 10 countries where we are present.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL GENERATE

In Specialized Solutions, we are looking for an Advisor based in Central Services of Santander Spain on Luca de Tena Street.

As an Advisor within the Active Advisory Securities service, your mission will be to drive the advice to clients within the Private Banking Spain model that require this new active and highly specialized service.

The service is mainly aimed at High Net and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals clients, clients with high wealth and requiring a very sophisticated and close level of service. It is a service that encompasses advice of all types of assets (Fixed Income, Variable Income, Structured Notes, ETFs, etc) managed by a sophisticated specialist in markets and with market execution offering therefore a service level in line with the demand for these segments.

This is a market where our competitors in Spain already offer a similar service and other international banks with which we compete, which poses an opportunity cost and risk of losing clients, especially the most sophisticated and profitable ones.

The objective is to achieve substantial revenues over the next few years.

To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:

• Global and recurring advice to the client based on your high market/technical knowledge and existing opportunities, maintaining direct relationship with the client. Building and maintaining strong client relationships and market execution of client orders on different assets.
• Identifying clients' needs and objectives and evaluating their present and future investment actions.
• Seeking tailored solutions to cover such needs, strengthening investment strategies.
• Knowledge of products and services designed by product specialists and third-party providers.
• Knowledge, relationship, and cross-coordination of the different areas of the Bank.
• Generation of investment opportunities in coordination with product specialists and other areas of the Bank or third-party providers. Risk control.

The following requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities essential for success in this position.

Professional experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in client management and financial markets in the area of Private Banking or markets.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree / University Degree
• Special financial training and additional certifications (EFA, CFA, stock exchanges and markets, CAI, etc...)
• Financial and investment product knowledge.
• High level of Excel, Power Point.
• High level in the use of tools like Bloomberg.

Languages

• English (Mandatory)
