Senior Financial Auditor

P wC, a global leader in professional services, is in a continuous process of expansion and growth in its various business lines. To strengthen our Assurance team in the Madrid office, we are looking for senior financial audit professionals to join our team and lead audit projects in companies from diverse sectors. The selected person will have a key role in reviewing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring regulatory compliance and the quality of accounting information, as well as identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute complete financial audits, ensuring compliance with national and international standards.
• Perform detailed analysis of financial statements and internal controls.
• Identify areas of risk, propose recommendations, and support in the implementation of improvements.
• Supervise and train junior teams, ensuring the quality and efficiency of work.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports for management and clients.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices in the sector.

Requirements:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in financial auditing.
• Deep knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, including IFRS and/or GAAP.
• Analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a team and manage projects.
• High level of English.
