Network & Infrastructure Security Analyst
$35-60/hr Remote Freelance CODING
We're partnering with the world's leading AI research labs to build the next generation of AI-driven security systems — and we need seasoned security practitioners to make it happen.
If you've spent years in the trenches defending enterprise networks, hunting threats, or managing security infrastructure, this is your opportunity to apply that hard-won expertise to frontier AI development. Your real-world knowledge of how attacks unfold, how controls fail, and how defenders respond is exactly what's needed to make AI security systems smarter and more reliable.
About the Role- Analyze realistic enterprise network, endpoint, and email security scenarios to capture how threats, controls, and failures interact in production environments
- Review firewall, EDR, and infrastructure security cases to determine root causes and what went wrong
- Classify incidents, misconfigurations, and control failures based on real operational data
- Create, label, and validate security training and evaluation datasets used to improve AI systems
- Provide clear, structured explanations of security issues, root causes, and business impact
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security roles
- Solid familiarity with enterprise security tooling — firewalls, EDR platforms, email security, IAM, SIEMs, and beyond
- Deep understanding of how real organizations deploy and operate security controls in production
- Able to communicate complex security concepts clearly and concisely in writing
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments
- Experience with incident response, threat hunting, or red/blue team operations
- Background in security architecture, cloud security, or zero-trust environments
- Familiarity with AI or data labeling workflows
- Work directly on cutting-edge AI projects with top-tier research labs
- Fully remote and flexible — work on your schedule, 10–40 hours per week
- Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration
- Make a meaningful impact by teaching AI systems how real-world security works
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
