The difference you make
MK Santander España is looking for a creative tech & digital designer based in Madrid, Spain.
As a creative tech & digital designer, your mission will be to lead the creative and technological evolution of relational marketing and customer engagement communications, elevating the quality, consistency, and creative effectiveness of CRM and email pieces through digital design, Figma, best email practices, automation, hyper-personalization, and AI.
We are shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration, and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Designing digital pieces for email marketing, CRM, newsletters, lifecycle campaigns, and automated communications with a mobile-first and responsive approach.
- Contributing art direction in composition, hierarchy, typography, color, imagery, layout, storytelling, and brand consistency.
- Translating relational marketing briefings into clear, attractive, and actionable visual solutions.
- Creating Figma designs, components, variants, templates, and modular systems for production, adaptation, and handoff.
- Applying AI to accelerate ideation, asset generation, adaptation, versioning, and hyper-personalization without losing creative control.
- Ensuring email excellence: accessibility, dark mode, readability, CTAs, image weight, compatibility, and mobile experience.

Professional experience
- Solid experience as an art director, digital designer, email designer, CRM designer, marketing designer, creative technologist, or similar role. (Mandatory)
- Experience designing pieces for email marketing, newsletters, CRM, lifecycle communications, digital campaigns, or marketing automation. (Mandatory)
- Advanced experience in Figma for creating designs, components, variants, modular systems, visual documentation, and handoff. (Mandatory)
- Experience applying AI to design, imagery, content, creative production, versioning, or personalization. (Mandatory)
- Experience creating templates, modules, design systems, or reusable components for scalable production. (Preferred)
- Experience in animation and video (Preferred)
Education
- University degree or equivalent in design, art direction, advertising, communication, marketing, creative technology, UX/UI, or related fields. (Mandatory)
- Additional training in email marketing, responsive design, marketing automation, creative AI, accessibility, or design systems. (Preferred)
Languages
- Professional English to work with tools, documentation, partners, or global teams. (Preferred)
Hard skills
- Digital design and art direction: composition, hierarchy, branding, typography, color, imagery, layout, and storytelling. (Mandatory)
- Advanced Figma: components, variants, modular systems, visual documentation, and handoff. (Mandatory)
- Email design: mobile-first, responsive, dark mode, accessibility, image weight, CTAs, compatibility, and rendering. (Mandatory)
- AI and creative tools:
Google Cloud, Veo 3, Gemini, Nano Banana, ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, DALL-E, and Canva. (Mandatory) - Design, CRM, and email marketing:
Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Illustrator, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hub Spot, Braze, Klaviyo, Customer.io, Mailchimp, and Marketo. (Preferred)
Soft skills
