Strategic Advisory And Client Relationship

Act as the main technical contact and trusted advisor for client stakeholders, from engineering teams to IT management.

Develop a deep and holistic understanding of the client's environment: not just their cloud infrastructure, but their legacy applications, dependencies, business processes, and organizational culture.

Translate the client's business objectives into an evolving, pragmatic technology roadmap, proactively identifying opportunities for optimization, innovation, and cost savings.

Lead co-creation workshops and design sessions to align Kyndryl's capabilities with the client's emerging needs, challenging preconceived ideas when necessary to ensure the best solution.

Design robust, scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), ensuring they integrate natively with the client's existing systems.

Serve as the ultimate technical authority within the account, providing delivery teams (engineers, system administrators) with detailed designs, governance principles, and best practices.

Act as the escalation point for the most complex technical challenges faced by delivery teams, guiding them in problem-solving and ensuring the integrity of the original design.

Validate that the final implementation of solutions aligns with the defined architecture, ensuring quality and operational excellence.

Establish and maintain a cloud architecture governance framework within the account, ensuring compliance with both Kyndryl and client standards.

Document the current and future state of the client's architecture, creating a single source of truth that guides all initiatives.

Stay ahead of technological trends and continuously evaluate new services and tools that can deliver tangible value to the client.

Essential Technical Knowledge:

• Demonstrable Cloud
  
  Experience:
  
  Minimum of 5-7 years of practical experience designing and implementing complex solutions in major platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Solid Infrastructure Fundamentals:
  Deep knowledge of networks (VPC, peering, DNS, firewalls), storage systems, databases (SQL and No
  
  SQL), and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
• Integration Architecture:
  Experience connecting cloud environments with on-premise systems (hybrid architectures). Understanding of APIs, event buses, and integration patterns.
• Software Development Experience, familiarity with Python, Node/JS, or Java, as well as observability and quality tools (Sonar, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/EFK, Jest, Cypress, Selenium or similar).
• Automation and Dev Sec Ops :
  Mastery of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, ARM) and CI/CD principles. Practical knowledge of container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Open Shift). Solid understanding of the software lifecycle (from design and development to deployment and maintenance).
• Security and Compliance:
  Experience in designing secure architectures, applying "secure-by-design" principles and knowledge of regulations like ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.

  You have an analytical and structured mindset. When faced with a problem, you are able to break it down, evaluate multiple solutions, and make informed decisions, even with incomplete information.

  You understand that working integrated in a client is a marathon, not a sprint. You know how to navigate complex organizations and handle ambiguity.

Desirable

Qualifications:

• Professional certifications in any of the public clouds (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• Previous experience in consulting roles or managed service providers.
• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
