Job Description
This travel assignment places you in an Emergency Department environment where your expertise in pediatric and adult patient care will be vital. You will be managing a variety of cases such as COPD, CHF, chest pain, MI, stroke, arrhythmias, uncontrolled diabetes, and minor trauma. The role demands hands‑on skills like cardiac rhythm interpretation, critical care drips, vent management, chest tube placement, and conscious sedation.
Expect a setting with up to four to five patients per RN, depending on acuity, in a hospital that balances advanced care capabilities with a friendly community feel. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a high‑acuity ED supported by a skilled team, including in‑house RT, hospitalists, and emergency physicians, with ample opportunity to develop your critical care proficiency while floating among multiple facilities within the region.
You’ll be engaging in a fast‑paced, rewarding environment where your contributions directly impact patient outcomes, all while experiencing the dynamics of a vibrant North Carolina city.
