Med-Surg nurses (RN) provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures and manage illness with pharmaceuticals. The role requires proficiency in a wide range of health conditions and involves:

• Completing assignments made by physicians
• Providing routine treatment and post-surgical care
• Assessing changes in patient health status and performing various treatments
• Administering medication
• Maintaining meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and other team members
