Description:
Seeking a motivated ICU Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit.
Ideal candidates will have experience managing a diverse range of patient conditions, including sepsis, COPD, CHF, and stroke.
You will provide care for an average census of 7.3 patients per day, with a patient ratio of 1:2-3, depending on acuity.
Nursing staff are supported by a charge nurse, house supervisor, and 24/7 hospitalist.
Key responsibilities include managing IVs, CVPs, chest tubes, and administering critical care medications.
You will also perform bedside assessments and monitor patients through tele-care systems.
Collaboration and effective communication with the healthcare team are essential to foster a positive work environment.
Teamwork is crucial, and candidates should be open to constructive feedback.
Flexible scheduling includes weekend rotations, and travelers are expected to work a percentage of holidays.
This position may require floating to other units or facilities as needed within the scope of practice.
Candidates must adhere to professional dress standards and be punctual for their shifts.
