  18 months Med/Tele experience
• First-time travelers:
  Not preferred, but will be considered (Resource Team)

• Stroke
• COPD
• Chest Pain
• Altered Mental Status
• GI bleed

• RN: 1:5-6, acuity dependent
• Surge staffing may increase ratios up to 1:7-8

• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS

• General Med/Tele skillset:
  Stroke experience/NIH assessments, chest tube management, PIV starts, trach care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, Foley insertion/management), PCA pumps
• Medication drip management including:
  Cardiac drips, Heparin, blood products, IV fluids

• CNA:
  Yes; CNAs can insert Foley catheters if certified and remove IVs for discharge if certified, in addition to vitals, ADLs, etc.
• Receptionist/HUC:
  Dayshift only
• Charge Nurse:
  May or may not have patient assignment
• Phlebotomy:
  Available 24/7
• No designated IV/VAT Team
• Respiratory Therapy:
  Available 24/7
• Hospitalist:
  Available 24/7

• Floating is required within the region and scope of practice.
• Travelers must be willing to float to all facilities within the region as needed.
• Decline if not agreeable.
• Region includes multiple facilities such as Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (including main and specialty hospitals). Floating may occur mid-shift, and travel time between facilities will be paid.
