Compensation:

$50,000 - $80,000 yearly

Qualifications
  • Verified experience in the automotive maintenance and repair industry
  • Secondary training in Automotive Technology is preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive
Responsibilities
  • Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle's integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes
  • Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems
  • Perform routine maintenance, as needed, like checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and oil changes
  • Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics
  • Adhere to manufacturer specifications to maintain vehicle systems and ensure customer satisfaction
