Hematologist​/Oncologist

This large hospital system is seeking a dedicated hematologist/oncologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Albert Lea, Minnesota. The provider will deliver comprehensive outpatient care, managing 14-16 adult patients per day Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, and participating in a 1:3 rotating call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care
• Manage 14-16 patients per day
• Conduct patient evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Manage hematologic and oncologic conditions in an outpatient setting
• Maintain documentation through the Epic EMR system for all patient encounters and treatment planning activities

Shift & Schedule

• Dates needed:
  July 27 ongoing for 1 yr
• Day Shift;
  Call
• Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call coverage follows a rotating 1:3 schedule

• Board certification required
• Hospital privileges are required for this position
