Responsibilities- Develops and provides specialized instruction to meet the academic, functional, and behavioral needs of students in an elementary special‑education setting.
- Evaluates and assesses student academic, functional and behavioral progress.
- Acts as IEP manager for assigned students.
- Directs the work of paraprofessionals and collaborates with other service providers and educators.
- Supports special‑education team members through due‑process and scheduling responsibilities (e.g., maintaining databases, timelines, and due‑process forms).
- Minnesota Teaching license in K‑12 Special Education or ability to obtain it.
