- Responsible for various day‑to‑day leadership and alignment of the 7-12th grade boys basketball program
- Responsible for organization of all practices and assisting the activities department with coordinating events
- Focus on promoting leadership and Albert Lea activity department core values in the program and to community
- Dedication to a culture and vision that promotes furthering the benefits of co‑curricular activities
- Ability to motivate athletes in an educationally based atmosphere
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in skill development, communication techniques and conflict resolution
- Focus on promoting leadership in the program and community
- Assist in structuring and guiding assistant coaches within the program and support them with methods that ensure success
- Partnership with youth associations to develop proper skill development and alignment to activities department and program's core values
- Previous high school coaching experience preferred
- Adheres to MSHSL and Albert Lea School District expectations

- Head Coaching Certification
- Compensation will be in accordance with Schedule Coofthe Teacher Master Agreement
