Para educator - Long-Term Replacement Lakeview Elementary
Serve as para educator at Lakeview Elementary. Position is.9 FTE. Pay range is $16.83 per hour. Benefits include earned sick and safe leave (ESST)/sick leave.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass local Academic Proficiency Exam or have taken at least 60 hours semester credits at post-secondary level
- Preferred experience working with children of differing abilities
- Preferred experience working with individuals with emotional, behavioral learning challenges, learning differences, and functional skills needs
- Must possess good organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team approach
- CPR and First Aid training/certification preferred
- Educational qualifications:
Equivalent of 2 years of college (AA degree) or passing score on Para Pro (460) - Hired based on pre-employment physical
