Are you an experienced Automation Controls Engineer looking for an opportunity to work in a dynamic, hands-on environment? We have an exciting direct-hire opportunity in Albert Lea, MN, with a competitive salary based on experience (targeting up to $105K). If you’re passionate about PLC programming, automation, and electrical controls, this could be the perfect role for you!

What You’ll Do:

Design and develop electrical control systems and schematics

Program and troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen Bradley preferred)

Integrate and automate robotic systems

Work on custom automation projects with a range of clients, from small shops to major manufacturers

Collaborate across departments and with customers to ensure successful project execution

Minimal travel (approx. 4 times per year) to customer sites for debugging and setup

What We’re Looking For:

Experience with three-phase industrial electrical systems

Hands-on experience with wiring, panel building, and troubleshooting

Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Studio 5000 a plus)

No degree required—but a background in Electrical Engineering or similar is a bonus

Solid Works Electrical experience is a plus

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
