Position Summary
Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates during store tours, providing feedback, and communicating.
Collaborates at all levels to support store operations, technology initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
Introduces and leads change efforts, communicates clear expectations, and executes business solutions.
Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service using the One Best Way service model.
Manages community and outreach programs, resolves customer complaints, and develops action plans to correct deficiencies, ensuring a high‑quality customer experience.
Drives financial performance and sales for the designated store area by reviewing P&L statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses, while ensuring effective merchandising, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
Provides supervision, hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition for hourly associates, sets clear expectations, promotes a culture of belonging, and supports cultural diversity.
Coordinates and oversees job‑related activities, builds relationships with stakeholders, supports initiatives, ensures compliance with company policies, promotes integrity, and fosters a safe, drug‑free workplace.

- Model exceptional customer service using the One Best Way model.
- Manage community outreach and resolve customer complaints.
- Review profit and loss statements, budget, forecast, and control expenses.
- Ensure effective merchandising, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
- Supervise, hire, train, mentor, and recognize hourly associates; set expectations; promote belonging.
- Coordinate job‑related activities, build relationships with stakeholders, and implement plans meeting customer and business needs.
- Ensure compliance with policies and promote integrity through the Open Door policy.
- Promote a diverse, respectful, and high‑performing workplace culture.
- Attract and retain top talent and recognize contributions and achievements.
- Demonstrate integrity, uphold ethics, and maintain strong accountability.
- 2 years of college OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- For firearm‑selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required.
- For facilities selling only ammunition, a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
- Associate will be required to attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 – $. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses, regional pay zone differential, complex structure differential, and state pay differential where applicable.
