Forklift Operator

Pay Rate: $25.65

Transfer product located in warehouse to appropriate outbound trailers while maintaining accuracy of inventory.

• Operate either a sitdown and/or standup forklift in an efficient manner.
• Load trailers utilizing pick tickets ensuring loads are balanced and accurately loaded.
• Haul and put away production as needed.
• Use RF scanners to maintain an accurate inventory.
• Ensure FIFO is followed.
• Follow locator system policies.
• Follow all Food Safety policies, procedures, and regulatory criteria including current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated Preventive Controls and safety programs.

High school diploma or equivalent experience. Must have good reading, writing and math skills.

Individual must be forklift certified by Ventura Foods and able to physically perform tasks required of position.

• Hourly starting rate of $25.65 with opportunities for hourly rate increases and career progression. Positions on 2nd and 3rd shifts are eligible for a $0.25/hr shift differential.

All jobs require sufficient physical strength and dexterity to perform the required tasks and typically require intermittent sitting, standing, walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
