Panels Plus is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to join our team. At Panels Plus, you are at the heart of our manufacturing process. You will play a vital role in wiring and assembling both standard and custom-engineered equipment used in the building component industry.

Performs visual inspection of all material prior to painting. May operate baking oven and monitors temperatures and bake cycle times. Performs miscellaneous related assignments, such as masking, packaging, etc. Cleans and maintains work area. Hang parts on the paint line in accordance with the shop order to ensure proper cleaning and coating of paint. Visually inspects parts after painting to ensure proper coverage.

- Assembly & Wiring: Utilize hand tools, power tools and hardware to assemble and wire standard and engineered products to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Schematics: Read and build from electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Industrial Controls: Install, wire, and troubleshoot industrial control panels and cable tray systems.
- Technical Integration: Apply acquired trade skills such as electrical, mechanical and plumbing to complete assembly process.
- Quality Control: Perform ongoing inspections throughout the assembly process and prior to shipment to ensure all components meet tolerances and symbols noted on part prints.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with engineers, designers, and technicians to resolve any assembly discrepancies or design challenges.
- Material Management: Set up jobs by verifying parts against the Bill of Materials (BOM) and obtaining necessary drawings.
- Safety & Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area and safely operate overhead hoists/cranes for positioning large assemblies.

Requirements- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Entry level or 1-2 years of assembly experience; preferred familiarity with electromechanical components.
- Technical
Skills:
Ability to interpret routings, bills of material, and complex assembly drawings. - Mindset: A positive, "can do" attitude with a refusal to be satisfied with average performance.
