Carpenter has an immediate opening for a Packaging Worker on the 1st shift (6:30 am‑3:00 pm) at our Albert Lea, MN manufacturing plant. The role involves packaging, labeling and processing customer orders, and assisting with the loading and shipping of foam products as needed.

Job Responsibilities- Good attendance and a safe working attitude.
- Learn packaging and loading requirements and quality standards for finished parts.
- Perform repetitive motions with hands, arms and fingers during packaging.
- Assist in loading and unloading trailers by hand.
- Work in trailers during extreme cold and warm weather (excluding refrigeration operations).
- Stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 40 lb when required.
- Operate computer for order lookup, printing and labeling/shipment needs.
- Identify raw material locations and help organize inventory as requested.
- Package foam products by hand – 60‑80 %
- Paperwork and processing orders/shipments – 10‑20 %
- Assist loading trucks and pallets by hand – 5‑10 %
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read specification drawings to learn assembly of finished parts.
- Ability to read and interpret a tape measure.
- Basic computer operation experience.
- Manufacturing experience (minimum 2 years).
- Some knowledge of SAP.
- Self‑starter attitude and teamwork skills.
Pre‑employment drug testing is required for all candidates who receive a written offer.
