Responsibilities
- Efficient day‑to‑day operation of the extrusion production rooms on first shift
- Manage, motivate, monitor and evaluate leads and operators
- Supervise extrusion activities and carry out mandatory responsibilities
- Train operators on various equipment and processes, including OSHA safety training
- Monitor quality and compliance with company standards
- Motivate safety and continuous improvement culture
- Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)
- 2 to 3 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous manufacturing supervisory experience
- Food manufacturing experience is a plus
- Strong motivation, organization, time management, documentation and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and 5S organizational tools, Six Sigma training a plus
- Ability to demonstrate strong work ethics
