Wage:$18.40
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM

2 nd Shift General Production Part Time will be responsible to learn and perform various tasks and rotate to different positions as needed.

• Learn and follow all MGK HACCP, SQF, SOP, and SSOP program
• Comply with all Food Safety procedures at all times
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Learn and perform various tasks and rotate to different positions as needed in the following areas:
  Cabbage Line, Veggies, Potato Room, Dishes, Other areas in the plant as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend documentation in English including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Team player attitude and willingness to fill in as needed.
• Positive communication with others and timely reporting of concerns and questions.
• Utilize calculators to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to obtain forklift and/or pallet jack license.
• Ability to lift and/or carry occasionally up to 40 pounds.

You’ll be part of a collaborative operations team focused on producing safe, high-quality products. You’ll report to the 2 nd Shift Supervisor and work closely with Team Leaders and cross-functional departments to keep production running efficiently.

This role requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting (occasionally lifting of up to 40 pounds). Employees must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while working in production areas.

This position is based in a food manufacturing facility where employees may be exposed to wet or humid conditions, moving machinery, cleaning chemicals, airborne particles, varying temperatures, and moderate noise levels. PPE is required in all production areas.
