Floor Person

Cargill is seeking a reliable Floor Person to support daily manufacturing operations in our production facility. In this role, you will assist with material handling, support machine operators, and monitor production lines to keep workflow efficient and safe. You will perform basic quality checks, maintain clean and organized work areas, and strictly follow safety, sanitation, and GMP guidelines. Working in a collaborative team environment, you will help Cargill deliver safe, high-quality food and industrial products while contributing to global sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production lines and support machine operators to maintain smooth workflow
• Perform material handling, including staging raw materials and moving finished goods safely
• Conduct routine visual inspections for quality and promptly report defects or issues
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to support 5

• Record basic production data and communicate status updates to supervisors
• Assist with equipment changeovers and line startups/shutdowns as directed
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily output, quality, and safety goals
