Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Type: Part‑time and Full‑time

Salary: $28.00 – $32.81 per hour

Hours:

8–32 per week

Shift: 2:45 pm – 10:15 pm

• $4 shift differential for evenings and overnights
• $1 weekend differential for everyone
• Time and a half on holidays worked

The licensed practical nurse provides each resident with routine daily nursing care and other desired services in accordance with the resident’s assessment, choices and care plan. The nurse completes residents’ assessments as directed by the Nurse Manager. Each nurse mentors and monitors T.M.A.’s, C.N.A.’s, and residents for their shift. The LPN works closely with the NM to manage the day‑to‑day functions.

• Current licensed to practice in the state of Minnesota
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in gerontological nursing preferred
• Excellent clinical skills and understanding of the nursing process to monitor nursing care delivered by the TMA and C.N.A.
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
