Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Role Overview

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for coordinating patient care, providing education, and supporting transitions of care. All new graduates with less than 12 months of experience are automatically enrolled in a Nurse Residency Program and receive extensive orientation.

• Deliver direct patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Support professional nursing practices across various settings.
• Follow the Mayo Nursing Care Model, including planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating care.
• Provide leadership through precepting, informal roles, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Delegate patient care based on skill, experience, and acuity.
• Maintain excellent communication, mentoring, and participation in committees or projects.

• Graduate or student of a registered nursing program.
• Current MN RN license and BLS certification.
• Preferred: 1 year hospital RN experience, emergency department experience.
• Eligible for TN sponsorship with licensure and certification.

This is a full-time, nonexempt role with night shifts, holiday rotation, and every third weekend schedule. Compensation ranges from $38.83 to $59.41 per hour, with benefits included.
