RN Staff Development/Infection Preventionist has multi responsibilities: as Staff Development you are responsible for educating staff, overseeing competencies and following state and federal guidelines. Assisting new employees and continuing education for current employees. As Infection Preventionist you are responsible for the implementation and on-going monitoring of an infection control program based on clinical standards of practice and clinical guidelines, as well as regulatory compliance.
REQUIRED SKILLS:- Must have current MN RN license and CPR certification.
- Certification in infection prevention and control or willingness to get it.
- Wound certified or willing to get certified.
- Prefer 2 years’ experience in a skilled nursing facility.
- Demonstrate strong leadership by actively inspiring staff to upgrade their skills and clinical knowledge, ensuring the highest standards of resident care.
- Understanding and following state and federal guidelines.

Primarily Monday - Friday 8:00-4:30
