AmTech is seeking an experienced and hands‑on Quality Manager to lead food safety, quality assurance, laboratory operations, and sanitation programs within a growing food manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and industry standards while driving a culture of continuous improvement throughout the facility.

- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, GFSI/FSSC 22000, customer requirements, and regulatory standards
- Develop, implement, maintain, and verify food safety programs and preventive controls
- Direct cross‑functional Food Safety Team activities, audits, and review meetings
- Ensure food safety plans, corrective actions, and verification activities are effectively executed and documented.
- Serve as the primary site contact for regulatory agencies, third‑party auditors, and customer audits.
- Manage inspections, audit preparation, corrective action responses, and compliance reporting.
- Conduct internal audits to verify adherence to company policies and regulations.
- Oversee Quality Assurance and Laboratory operations, including microbiological, chemical, physical, and sensory testing.
- Coordinate sampling and testing activities with production teams.
- Establish standards for inspection, sampling, testing, and product evaluation.
- Investigate consumer complaints and implement corrective actions.
- Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate Quality Assurance, Laboratory, and Sanitation personnel.
- Establish departmental priorities, training programs, and performance expectations.
- Foster collaboration between Quality, Production, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Assurance, Biology, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of quality leadership experience in food manufacturing.
- 5+ years of management experience in food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, FSSC 22000, GFSI standards, and food safety regulations.
- Experience leading audits and managing quality systems.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
