Quality Assurance Coordinator

• The QA Coordinator provides necessary support to Quality Team Members and customers in administering and completing essential duties and responsibilities for the department

• Supports all day-to-day activities of QA team members, QA processes and procedures

• Effective use of communication skills to keep customers, employees and vendors advised and updated with key quality information

• Maintains and guarantees Balchem Corporations quality and safety standards

• Directly reports to the Quality Assurance Manager for proper direction, interpretation, and evaluation

• Lab experience is required, and food-handling experience is desirable
• HACCP knowledge and understanding required/PCQI preferred
• Must have sound analytical and technical skills
• Individual must be equipped with strong motivation, organization, time management, documentation, and communication skills (both orally and written)
• Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Demonstration of strong work ethics (dependable, and trustworthy)
• Must be able to communicate and handle conflict in a professional manner
• Ability to give and welcome feedback and contribute to building a positive team spirit
