Exterior Services Technician, DOT Operator - DS

Walmart is hiring a Landscape Operator (Exterior Services Technician – DOT Operator) to oversee exterior landscaping projects and maintain the retail environment year‑round. The role includes mowing, trimming, pruning and operating equipment to keep parking lots, building exteriors, and surrounding areas clean and safe.

• Conduct grounds maintenance in parking lots, exterior buildings and surrounding areas.
• Operate specialized equipment and vehicles required for landscaping tasks.
• Collaborate with associates to manage all aspects of landscaping and exterior maintenance.
• Adhere to safety, security, and integrity protocols, complying with corporate, local, federal and state regulations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines.
• Assess landscaping needs and implement sustainable upgrades.

• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid, state‑issued driver’s license with at least 3 years of clean driving record.
• No convictions for DUI/DWI/OUI or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three years.
• No more than two moving violations in the last three years if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
• No serious or preventable traffic violations per FMCSRs in the last three years if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
• Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification (90‑day card).
• Ability to read and speak in English.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management or related field.
• Certified Facilities Manager (CFM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or related certification.
• Third‑party management experience.
