Position: Site-Based Health and Safety Manager
Become a pivotal Health and Safety Manager with Fuerte Metals, enhancing safety protocols for mining projects. This role prioritizes responsible development and safety in the Yukon’s Coffee Gold Project.

In this key role, you will support Fuerte Metals' site leadership by establishing safety standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations. Your background in mining and safety management will help promote a culture of accountability and improvement. This position requires 8-10 years of experience in mining or heavy industries, and you will report directly to the VP, Coffee.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead health and safety leadership initiatives

• Develop and update HSMS according to regulations

• Review and assess contractor safety plans

• Manage risk planning and emergency response

• Foster a culture of safety and open reporting

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety

• 8–10 years experience in mining or construction

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required

• First aid certification and Mine Rescue training an asset

• Capability to lift 50 lbs routinely
