Senior Accountant

Position: Staff/Senior Accountant
Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff or Senior Accountant to join a stable and growing organization. This role will support core accounting functions including month-end close, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

+ Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the integrity of the general ledger

+ Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies

+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

+ Support payroll processing, including related journal entries and reconciliations

+ Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed

+ Ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with internal controls

+ Support audit requests and provide documentation as required

+ Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

+ 2+ years of accounting experience; manufacturing experience strongly preferred

+

Experience with inventory accounting is a plus

+ Strong Excel skills, including ability to work with large data sets and perform analysis

+ Solid understanding of general ledger, reconciliations, and accounting fundamentals

+ Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

+ Need some exposure to payroll processing
