Maintenance Generalist

Job Details

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

If an applicant meets the minimum requirements, they may be contacted for an interview. Applicants must be willing to work overtime and weekends.

• Some departments are hot/wet, some are cold/wet.
• Work schedule:
  
  6 days a week, 7 if production works on Saturday.
• Position requires standing approximately 8.5 hours per day on concrete floor.
• Position requires pushing, pulling or lifting over 40 lbs. and climbing ladders above 10 feet.
• Position requires membership in the Plant Hazmat Team.
• Requires completing computer‑based training and entering work into the SAP system.
• Position requires using LOTO, Fall Protection, Ladders, Forklifts, Pallet Jacks.

• Minimum 6 months of industrial maintenance work experience documented in the application or completion of an industrial maintenance training program.
• Work experience must be listed in the application.
• All applicants must provide their government identification number for employment verification.
• This facility will not accept applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods more than 3 times.
• Rehires accepted after 180 days;
  Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on dismissal reason.
• Current maintenance technicians have first consideration over other applicants.

• Open to all shifts (United States).
