Our client, Newman Technology located in Albertville, AL, is in need of Auto Production Machine Operators for a temp‑to‑hire opportunity.

Pay Rate: $9.00–$10.30 per hour.

Company Profile: Newman Technology is a global company originating in Japan. Its North America Albertville facility is a Honda supplier that produces door sashes and exhaust components for Honda Manufacturing of Alabama in Lincoln, Alabama. The plant was opened in April 2012.

• Temporary‑to‑hire:
  Pay will be increased to $12.02 per hour for 1st shift and 50 cents per hour differential for 2nd shift if chosen for full‑time employment by Newman.
• Insurance:
  Blue Cross Blue Shield offered after 90 days of full‑time employment.
• Uniforms:
  Paid by Newman Technology.
• Plant shutdown time off:
  Company shuts down for two (2) weeks during Christmas and the week of July 4th.
• Additional company benefits to be discussed upon full‑time employment.

Job requires employees to be available for work on either 1st or 2nd shift.

• Lifting up to 40‑lbs.
• Repetitive motion.
• Standing for long periods of time.

Must wear jeans or long pants with no holes, a PSI long‑sleeve shirt, and steel‑toe shoes. Client will provide safety glasses and ear plugs.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; applicants without HSD/GED but with a steady work history will be considered.
• Previous manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Must be able to pass all pre‑employment testing.
