** the general production labor position provides hands-on support to production operations by performing a variety of manual and production-related tasks as assigned. This role supports product flow, quality, and efficiency while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to tyson policies, food safety standards, and procedures in a fresh food manufacturing environment.
** key responsibilities
** perform assigned production tasks to support processing, packaging, and material handling operations assist with product handling, sorting, stacking, and staging as required maintain continuous product flow to prevent downtime or congestion monitor product for quality defects and report concerns promptly assist line operators with setup, changeovers, and general line support maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment remove waste, scrap, and recyclable materials according to plant procedures follow standard operating procedures (sops) and supervisor instructions follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and allergen control requirements comply with osha regulations and tyson safety policies use required ppe and follow safe work practices perform other duties as assigned
** physical demands and work requirements
** ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shiftability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motionsability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as requiredability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistanceability to work in cold, wet, or humid conditions typical of a fresh plant environment

** must be available to work assigned shifts overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required based on production needs
