Denali is seeking a Traveling Heavy Equipment Operator to support projects throughout Georgia and Alabama. Working under the direction of a Project Manager, this employee will help clean lagoons, digesters, basins, and other assigned structures or facilities.
This position combines hands-on physical labor with the safe operation of heavy and agricultural equipment, including front-end loaders, skid steers, excavators/track hoes, and bulldozers. Employees must be comfortable working in dirty conditions, traveling between project locations, and working approximately 50–70 hours per week.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform lagoon, digester, basin, and other cleanup work under the direction of the Project Manager.
Safely operate heavy and agricultural equipment according to company procedures and project requirements.
Load, unload, move, and deliver materials to assigned and approved destinations.
Perform hands-on labor, including cleanup, material handling, and equipment and tool setup.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform preventive maintenance within the scope of training.
Promptly report equipment concerns, unsafe conditions, and incidents to the Project Manager.
Maintain accurate equipment operation and project records.
Keep equipment, tools, shops, and work areas clean and organized.
Follow project instructions, site safety procedures, and required personal protective equipment practices.
Represent Denali professionally when interacting with customers, coworkers, and the public.
Travel to assigned project locations and work overtime as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to operate heavy or agricultural equipment safely.

Ability to follow directions and work as part of a project team.

Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
